Wurtz Bros. has been supplying southern Manitoba with Ready-Mix Concrete for over 35 years. We can supply concrete for any job, no matter how large or small, wherever you need it. Wurtz Bros. is equipped with a fleet of over 10 mixer trucks and a concrete boom pump. We are COR certified and our concrete batching plant is certified by MRMCA. Also, the American Concrete Institute certifies our ACI CSA-based concrete field-testing technician.
QUALITY CONTROL TESTING
We offer concrete to any specification and we create our own engineered mix designs in our lab. To ensure that our customers get the highest quality products possible we do extensive internal testing of materials. Some of the testing done frequently at our plant includes:
- Aggregate gradations and aggregate quality testing
- Plastic concrete testing to ensue consistent air content and slump
- Concrete cylinder testing to ensure accurate and consistent concrete strength
